1st: So you drive with a simple wheel. Not realistic. No h-shifter, no clutch pedal I suppose. That's an unfair advantage over all the honest guys racing with proper clutches. Period.
2nd: I want the f-view in the game, you don't. 1:1, the devs leave that in because I want it. If you don't like the game please go away now.
3rd: It would be most realistic to drive a race in a car.

I've quit reading on page 6. You seem to be quite an experienced troll to me, not seeing valid points opposing yours and keeping going on about how everyone but you is a stupid/bad/mad/... person.
I say it again, show us your lfs simulator(edit: and show how you're faster with force view). Then leave. Quick.
Would you mind showing us your rig? I mean everything, Computer, screen, wheel, shifter, pedals and so on.

Seth you can't be serious.
The F-view is plainly to see if the car is over/understeering or behaving well on bumps and stuff.
In cockpit view you have the clear advantage of seeing the dashboard moving in relation to the track, so you see where the back end wants to go as well. You will not be able to see this in f/wheel view.
I'm .4 seconds SLOWER in F-view. Prove me wrong. BL on XFG takes roughly 1:36 when in F-view.
Next point would mean you have to get licensed. Then I will set up a race, you against troy, let's say in any car with a H-gearbox. Then you show us your rig (MUST have a clutch and an H-shifter) and troy will stream the race, showing his feet and him racing with you.
You are allowed to drive in F-view, Troy will race you in hardcore manner, no autoclutch, no throttle blip and no sequential shifter.
After he has wiped the floor with your face you may or may not see that it takes so much more than a setup tool view to be quick.

Well, if you love these kinds of system or not, don't forget that UKCT/Cargame and others put a lot of effort into this.
I got silver licenses at best back in the days, I'm just too slow and watch my mirrors too often to be a competitive driver, but still I enjoyed racing there most of the time.
As long as there's only a few of those ranked system servers it's absolutely fine by me. I don't have to race there, I still can join pickup races or join some short/one time events in every car I like.
Just don't go all iRacing please! If there were many ranking systems it'll be like Diablo II, dreadful for the casual player with all the ladder resets every 6 months!

One of the reasons CTRA stopped its great services is the lack of time and money. And to run such great servers and a fully un-automated report system where every complaint is being watched by a real person you need both.
Today cargame is the place to be. He can't (or doesn' want to) make a whole new CTRA with all its features, but he's close enough. Took the good stuff, imroved it and got rid of the extra fat.
